Coconino Lava River Cave
COCONINO, ARIZONA
Eons ago, a rushing lava river formed this pristine passage through solid rock.

The entrance was below freezing, even though it was in the 50s outside. A little seep in the ceiling had created these stubby ice cones on the floor.( z-foto)
