Why AR is so behind.
"Qu'ils mangent de la brioche!" . . . Not that we can actually get married - but receptions will literally also be taken off the table if all of the staunch Republicans have their way. No cake for queers? Can I still buy birthday cakes for my kids, or what? . . . Not to sound crass, but mind your own fucking business. Just because you'd prefer it if all local businesses shut us out from having any type of public display of commitment, ceremony or celebration so that none of you have to see things you disagree with, doesn't mean that bakeries, florists, photographers and clothing stores for formal attire are actually going to turn us away. They could now, but hopefully they won't be so quick to hang up their morals along with the success of their business - and that is what will happen, businesses that turn people away based on their own religious beliefs will be ruining their reputations because someday things will eventually be equal, or do you not recall the Civil Rights Movement?
PS: We used to go to church together, Kim Hammer, but I guess we didn't get the same message.
