AAAA thanks so much!!! :DDD i would have to say network effect, bc mb’s friendship with ART is my absolute favourite out of all its relationships (asshole best friends who always seem to be bickering but actually understand each other better than anyone else + would do anything for each other?? Yes). i just love how mb can just fully be itself with ART, and how they bring something out in each other that u don’t get with the human characters. i also loved the introduction of amena, the help.me files (the reveal about ‘the company’ and the scene where mb goes after the graycris operative PUNCHED ME IN THE GUT), and mb coming to realise at the end that its friends came to save it…. ne is so good!!!!!

exit strategy would have to be a close second tho, i love the high tension high stakes heist vibes of it all (i love books that make me Stressed), and mb’s relationship w presaux after it’s undergone all the character development of the previous books!!

Kickstarter campaigns tend to start big, then slow down for a while before a spike at the end. I’m not worried about hitting 7.5. I have no idea if stretch goals beyond that are feasible, but WE SHALL SEE. ;)

help i've been drawn into the au where julius is the de rolo to escape - leaving percy and cassandra behind... i've doodled a couple things for it and i've been wondering: do you think julius would ever return to the path of a paladin again?

I think maybe post-liberating Whitestone he might? I feel like it would depend on a lot of things and he’d probably never return to Pelor. I could see him falling in with Saranrae since she’s a goddess of redemption and second chances. Especially since Saranrae does clearly come to Pike’s call when she needs her.

In game terms, I see Julius as having like, 2 levels in Paladin before the Briarwood’s coup (aka, just before he would have to take an Oath). Then he starts taking levels in Fighter instead out of anger and despair, and then maybe much, much later, he’d pick up paladin levels again.

He does not get along with the Raven Queen and will fight about it. Yes, he knows his brother is a vampire, thank you. If you’ve got something to say about Percy, you’re going to have to go through Julius first.

I can’t imagine grant playing the grimdark version of green arrow - so I’m kind of wondering if they’re going to go with a quippier green arrow? If he’s actually playing an alternate GA of course. Although his costume is the same... [insert we just don’t know gif here]

It seems like they’re switching identities as in Barry Allen will be the Green Arrow and Oliver Queen will be The Flash. Whether that identity switch includes their entire characteristics, personalities, careers, and families and friends, we’ll have to see.

If it is another earth though, and as some people are speculating they’re in biker outfits... do you know the first thing that popped into my mind? The ‘97 Batman & Robin movie - which also happened to have Mr Freeze and Batgirl. Nora Fries is in the crossover and I know Batwoman isn’t the same but it still made me go hmmmmm
