Important update

Hi everyone! I'll be out of work for two weeks, due to a near death experience.

Without too many details, I was given an intense amount of fear toxin.

I'm not sure what's next... I'll try to keep everyone updated.

Jokers got a toy under Arkham you can hear him scream .

I checked in with management before you asked me this has already been reported hours ago.

If you haven't reported it yourself? I question your motives for telling me. Especially with you dehumanizing the victim.

Especially since typically I can't check my phone at work most of the time. The PERSON could've been long dead by only going to my asks on social media. Especially since I can't do anything about Jokers behavior towards people other than report it.

Amelia lore post: Fear part two

The medical wards were clean and sanitary. Each with a operation table and the necessary equipment to operate in arkham. Due Arkham being the only place to contain some of its patients.

However, a private room had been out of order for a while since Waylon Jones had gone through. An obvious hiding spot!

Immediately Amelia went to the door barging in past the scrub station to find the child trapped on the bed gagged. Quickly she untied the fabric muffling the boy.

“Dr.Coffey?” Dylan stuttered out in surprise. “You…”

“Yeah, Dylan. Deep breaths focus on me. We're getting you out of here.” The doctor finally undid the restraints. As she freed the boy she heard a clang.

As the boy stood up. Johnathan Crane came into the medical room from the scrub station. Amelia had missed Scarecrow hiding under the sinks in her concern for the boy.

“Run back now!” The Psychologist yelled as she charged Scarecrow foolishly. Clearly this had been a trap for Batman. Overly simplistic and flawed. Ruined by a doctor from the children's ward.

Of course, Dr. Amelia Coffey was injected with the toxin immediately.

Then… Her memories of the situation went blank. They were blocked off, so she couldn't remember what she saw.

All Amelia could remember was pure fear, nausea, and pain.

The owlish woman sighed. Tonight was a long night at Arkham, after all, Dr. Coffey had been called back for emergencies in the children's ward.

Not that the doctor minded being called back; If they needed her, then they needed her.

Currently the hospital was under lockdown so her and the techs were doing checks to make sure everything and everyone was accounted for.

Turns out Jonathan Crane, otherwise known as Scarecrow, had broken free.

“Dr. Coffey! One of the kids is missing. Dylan Parker.” A tech reported.

The psychologist’s heart sank to her stomach as her eyes widened. Hands shaking she grabbed her walkie.

“Child missing. Dylan Parker, age ten, brown hair, blue eyes, 5’8.” She recited from memory.

“We'll get to it when we can. The adult ward is in chaos.” A voice came out.

The doctor groaned in response, that was obvious. What a lousy excuse in her eyes, the adults were just being noisy.

That kid needed to be found now.

“Start headcount again. Make sure nothing is missing either. I'm about to do something stupid.” Dr. Coffey spat in frustration as she turned to bolt. If that kid stays missing, he'll be dead within the hour and she knows it.

The doctor knew she had to avoid staff lest they stop her from finding that kid. Knowing staff they'll forget to mention it to the local vigilantes who happened to show up.

Dr. Coffey started checking areas with the equipment Crane liked to use. Naturally the medical wards would suffice.

They had restraints, beds, and general equipment.

“Dr. Coffey, where are you? It's not safe outside the children's ward.” The doctor's hand went through her dark black hair with a groan. She shut off the walkie talkie after that.

Amelia then heard a boy cry and quickly went over towards the noise….
