so this guy i sit next to in ap lit saw i had a steven universe sticker on the back of my phone. and he asks me "oh so you like steven universe?" of course i say yes and ask him if he's seen it. unfortunately for me, he says he finds the show stupid. i've never wanted to punch someone so hard the face. he also saw my sketches in a pocketbook i carry. he proceeded to take the book and say my drawings didn't fit any style of anime he had seen, so therefore it was realistic. no. just stop talking to me.

Story Time (KINDA LONG)

So I was thinking back to last night and what happened when I was handing out candy to kids. So this brother and sister came to my door and the older sister was a baseball player and the brother was dressed as Slenderman. The sister complimented my costume (I was a Sim) and she said plays the Sims all the time, and I thanked her.

As I gave them their candy, I told the boy, “I hope you don’t come after me when I collect all 8 pages.” And immediately, the sister said, “You’re the first person to get the reference.” I had told them of course and that I had played the game and that I had played the FNAF series. And although I couldn’t see his eyes, I could see his smile grow through his mask. After we discussed more games, he and his sister cheerily ran off shouting back at me to have a good night and a Happy Halloween. I did the same and it felt great to make a kid’s night happier.

Sorry I’ve been so inactive lately. I’m in the middle of a move. My family is staying at my aunt’s house so I’m using her wifi. I won’t have internet for a while but I’ll try to use my phone.
