One of my #favourite places I've been! The sandy beach of #Arkoudilas is the southernmost point of #corfu #island which can only be reached by walking A LOT or by car/bike on a dirt road or by boat if you have one. The nearest settlement to Arkoudilas is Kavos (about 4-5 km). The beach is set in a small cove surrounded by high cliffs. Arkoudilas is a wild place - there are no taverns, hotels or villas so it's apparently not busy as not many people find it unless they get told to hunt for it, like we did !(apart from 4 locals we were the only ones there!). The sand is soft but the water is shallow only a few meters from the shore, then it goes deep! #epic #wild #sandy #beach #Ionian #aegean #Greece #secret #beach
