Status: DECEASED- Cause of Death: Self Sacrifice, Poachers
Notable Traits: Cephalix Type has a 'Cephalic Cradle' under the brain- similar in composition to a cuttlebone. Capable of both cloning and sexual reproduction.
Personality: Sves is remembered as curious and welcoming to newcoming Daleks, even before they met Arkreli. Extremely capable in piloting and highly protective of their fellows.
Bio/story
In the space-time explorations of Arkreli, he'd met many variations of Daleks to take back to 'his' Skaro and to Davros. The Daleks must be pure, but that purity must not compromise genetic variety.
There was tell of a space-time branch of Daleks that were peculiar, and limited contact with the 'standard' type. Arkreli noticed their numbers only in the few thousand, and an intergalactic committee deemed them 'Endangered'.
Upon boarding their saucer, Arkreli met Sves. Sves was knowledgable, and soon revealed why the Cephalix was in danger of extinction- Poachers.
See, Cephalix did not just reproduce via cloning. Their saucer's communications 'going dim' was because half the saucer's population would develop the ability to produce eggs or sperm, like cephalopods. They would then pair off, court, and tend to eggs until *millions* of tiny tiny Daleks hatched. Saucer infrastructure was built to handle a sudden decrease of workers, and ensure the survival of as many Brooders and their eggs as possible.
Sves stated that pairings are generally among Daleks that are compatible, naturally repulsed by any with blood relations. There is nothing fully personal save for long-running, rare monogamous pairs.
Most standard Daleks who had come before Arkreli opted to be given medication to abort any biological changes that come from this season, as there is favoring towards newcomers to reproduce and add new DNA.
Arkreli chose to allow the changes if they come. His emotions were allowed to develop further than their already advanced state. Increased hunger and fat storage allowed his body to begin producing the ability to create sperm cells that could be encased in slime and given to a brooder partner.
Sves developed as a Brooder, the underside of the Cephalic Cradle becoming a pocket of blood-rich tissues and cushioned with fat to nourish the eggs. Sves and Arkreli began courting, compatible for their shared intellect and curiosity.
The threat was Poachers, who would stun entire saucers and board looking for 'Gravid Daleks', ones with chambers of fertilzed eggs. They would be killed, eggs taken, and the eggs sold as a delicacy. The eggs would be served on the cephalic plate of the deceased brooder. Only fertilized eggs are consumed, as 'virgin' eggs are oily, rubbery, and tasteless.
Ideally, according to harvesting regulation, only 10% of Gravid Daleks are to be harvested. However, the Poachers do not simply identify Gravid Cephalix, instead stunning all on board and then cracking shells with a tool meant to force open the midsection. This tool is often illegally modified for an easier cracking, but it risks stabbing the very conscious Dalek Mutant and injuring them (eye, face, and cranial injury most common). The aftermath of poaching often sees mates of gravid Daleks going into distress and Emotion Sickness.
The Poachers had invaded the saucer just as Arkreli and Sves were in the mid-stages of courting. The stun had, by sheer luck, not affected Sves and they, plus three other luckily not immobilized Daleks, fought Poachers until they could use an airlock to suck them and the Poachers out. Sves was killed by the Poachers, casing cracked open upon capture.
Arkreli took the survivors to Davros. His sperm was extruded and frozen. To him, he'd lost Vanna and Sves close together.
To Vess, it was no longer just a dream. But like dreams, she'd soon forget many pieces on her onboard memory, but the hard drives never forget.
Certain Dalek variants, such as Cephalix, Sin of Empathy, and other odd strains, can experience beyond crude emotions.
Arkreli experienced attraction to Vanna, SVES, and Vess. To him, it feels like warmth. Warmth that envelops and comforts the whole body, and a desire to share that warmth with the one they feel it for.
Arkreli would, honestly, love nothing more to be held and hold onto Vess, feeling that mutually-felt warmth together.
Name: Vess aka 'The Impossible' 'Vess of 200 Lives' 'V-388'
Planet of Origin: Skaro (Alternate- Dead from War)
Species: Salutary (Bio-Cybernetic Kaled)
Bio: In the throes of the 1,000 Year War, Kaled scientists were dealing with a sudden setback- The sudden death of Davros, and all Dalek embryos also dying from a fast-spreading infection.
The Salutaries- Female, bio-Cybernetic Kaleds meant to assist in keeping the Kaled Race alive as far as genetics, were evacuated alongside most other Kaleds. The last subjected two Salutaries to experiments. Vess would live entire other lives across space and time, each dream a full life, birth to death. There were 200, on drives. Strangely, several lives intersected with other Skaros, and especially, a particular Dalek that crashed on her dead planet.

Name: Arkrel'
Planet of Origin: Skaro (The Integrated Empire)
Species: Dalek
Bio: Arkreli defected from the Cult of Skaro, and bears the Sin of Empathy as result. Due to having newly-emerged emotions, he was easily manipulated by Davros to undertake an important mission- Go to timelines far and wide to gather Daleks and save the species. Thanks to him, notable Dalek variants were discovered and preserved, as well as the pure still having enough variation to prevent inbreeding and flaws.
In numerous timelines, he'd meet someone... Her face and species were different, but so much was familiar. No matter the identity, she was key to his mission success, but at the cost of her own life. Now, on this dead Skaro, stranded with two surviving Daleks, the Salutaries that took them in could very well hold the answer.
Secretly, he is the clone offspring of the Dalek Time Strategist

Name: Saan aka '844-N', 'Mama' [Calyx]
Planet of Origin: Skaro (Alternate- Dead from War)
Species: Salutary (Bio-Cybernetic Kaled)
Bio: The 1,000 Year War had led to incredible advancements in killing. The Thals had infected a Kaled Scientist with a rapidly-spreading meningococcal bacteria, making him a carrier. This disease spread among the scientists, Davros, and the 50 Dalek Embryos. Saan had watched them die, desperately trying to save them. She carries the deaths of Davros and especially the Dalek embryos in her heart, and the scars of the Military Elites' beatings on her face. A scapegoat. Saan was left behind as the Kaleds found another Skaro, leaving her with just Vess and the ghosts of the war.
Saan is nervous and careful. She was the one who found and raised Calyx, the Golden Heir. Being his mother had given her some sort of healing. However, her timidness remained, especially when Zxenor and Dhaal order her around.
