Geran and Arlo and Co.

Geran finds a family in Arlo and Co. He finds romantic love with Bertie. Someone who Geran feels is so beautiful inside and out. She looks out for him and him her, she shows concern for how trusting he is. This is despite his own pain from his sorrowful past.

One of how before he met and became an enforcer of the Fey Leo crime family. He was treated as a freak show attraction by his parents. They were also severely abusive of him in so many ways. And many people had been so cruel to him. Throwing rocks at him and stuff.

He had also received electric shocks and burns. Was first to perform dangerous stunts. His parents treated him like some sort of freakish monster. He had even been dropped as a baby. Something that is one of a number of traumatic memories for him. He had been away from his family, for 4 years come Arlo’s movie. And had been working for the Fey Leos.

Shortly after the movie, Geran found his way to the Seaside town after he was performing a job. This happens after he comes across Bertie. The Fey Leo family were not far behind as they were doing business elsewhere nearby.

Geran and Bertie got along quite well and he met the others Arlo, Alia, Teeny Tiny Tony, Furlecia, Marcellus, the beast and also Ansel who was visiting. He ended befriending them and getting along well with them.

This is an Arlo OC named Geran. This is my first drawing of him. He’s as tall as Bertie is. i ship him with her.

He works with a criminal family, but does not exactly know that they are evil. He’s trusting and naive. Geran is a creative and thoughtful individual. He’s used as muscle.

I have a backstory and stuff made for him.

Arlo rolled her eyes and went back to mixing the ingredients in front of her. “Listen Dally, I said what I said! Pasteles ARE superior to tameles! They ain’t bad! But why anyone wants to eat meat surrounded by meh- tastin’, ground-up corn is beyond me!” 

She spun and pointed the fork at the man she had fondly claimed as her brother and smiled, “Now you sit your perky, bubble-butt on tha’ stool and keep gratin’ that yuca or get yer assUP and please take my pups out. I don’t need Coqui tearin’ up 'round ‘cause he’s hype.” 

Arlo pointed to the brown, German shorthair that was curled just outside the kitchen as he peered at the two and started to thump his tail against the floor.

Sunrise

I’ve introduced my OC once, so here’s a bit about Delores, bka Arlo.

Thanks to the awesome @buttered-ghost-toast​, I now have some beautiful artwork of my baby! Artwork and a little drabble under the cut!

Sunrises in Arizona are a true sight to see. Red, orange, and yellow splash across the sky, pushing the dark further and further away from the land to allow the soft blue hues to rise, mix, and linger across the skies. 

The soft clouds reflect the light. Fire across the sky. That's what it reminds people of. At least, that's what it reminds Arlo of from her place on the large boulder. Sunrise is a time of peace and quiet. Animals are changing shifts. The nocturnals are making their way home to rest while rodents are starting to wake. Early birds get the worm. Well everywhere except here. Here, the early mice avoid the birds and live until another time. The chitter-chatter of the waking desert animals reminds Arlo that there is still work to be done before she can head back and start her day.  

She takes another moment to breathe in the fresh morning air and watches as a prairie dog makes its way in front of her. It doesn’t seem to notice her yet but shows interest in the black bag on the ground.  She doesn't want to move all of a sudden but she doesn't have much time to linger.

 "Shoo," she scolds the animal before climbing down the boulder and dragging the large plastic bag further towards the mountain. Just a little more distance before she could scatter the chopped remains and let nature take its course. 

Finally getting to the designated spot, Arlo undid the bag, pulled her knife out, and plunged the knife through the middle of the throat in front of her. 

"I commit this body to the ground, earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to an eternal life of damnation.”

Was working on your last night. I'm at the in-laws so I didn't get to bring my big sketch book. Meet Delores, a horror OC I've been working on. Can't get the face right so i put her in her mask.
