Quickie Transformers Armada Reviews (Warning: much Screamer and Megop feels)
Done in quickies because not enough goes on in individual Armada eps to post full reviews.
Episode 1: Wayyyyy too many squishy humans and not enough Transformers. Though Megatron standing there politely for like five minutes while the humans talk is funny.
Episode 2: Megs vs OP right away let's go. Also Megsy's voice in this is AMAZING btw. Apparently this is OP's VO from TFA. Astounding, I'd never have known.
Episode 3: Seriously the humans have waaaay too much screen time in this show. I only really like the Token Girl Alexis and she gets the least to do.
Episode 4: LAZERBEAK IS WITH THE AUTOBOTS IN THIS VERSION!? Wow Bizarro World
Episode 5: Starscream is clearly the only character in this who is written with any depth or nuance so far. No wonder fans love him.
Episode 6: I did love the Lorax Save the Trees vibes on this one. Wish they'd explore that kind of stuff more often.
Episode 7: An entire episode of humans doing dumb human things. Oh joy.
Episode 8: Megsy's cannon is in the most hilarious place in this show. I mean wow, they're not even hiding how phallic it is. Even his original toy was more subtle. Here it's jut a giant crotch canon.
Episode 9: WOW these are the most annoying humans in the franchise so far. At least Megsy likes em.
Episode 10: Alexis is hilarious and clearly the perfect friend for Starscream. She goes on this long rant about being leader one day and you have expect her to claim 'The Earth Leader has fallen, I Alexis am now your leader"
Episode 11; Carlos, you idiot, how can you be so dumb as to fall in love with a hologram, says the girl who fangirls over cartoon alien robots every day. But surprisingly deep ep here with the stuff about war.
Episode 12: Deep sorrowful contemplation on the tragic and inevitable nature of hte Bot Con war.
Episode 13: IS hot Shot in this show supposed to be its version of Roddy or its version of Bumblebee? Or is he a separate character?
Episode 14: Starscream continues to be the best character with his Angst and Inner Conflict.
Episode 15: Cyclonus did you and Galvatron completely swap personalities in this universe?
Episode 16: Ah, that's the Screamer I know! Arrogantly boasting about being the best and pissing off Megsy.
Episode 17: WOW Megsy that was some manipulative af gaslighting bs. Poor Screamer. He needs a hug.
Episode 18: The writing on this show's dub is so odd I have no idea what's happening half the time. At least the VOs are doing their best.
Episode 19: Another Way too Much Human BS episode, and they still didn't give Alexis enough screen time.
Episode 20: BLURR Please don't die horrifically here. Also he doesn't talk like Blurr or have his usual lovable personality.
Episode 21: I feel like they just took a bunch of random names from TF history and slapped them onto whoever they wanted.
Episode 22: OP doing his usual heroic sacrifice thing. Some stuff never changes.
Episode 23: Megsy sure is being awful to Screamer in this show. And for once other characters care.
Episode 24: OOH YES FINALLY SOME ALEXIS SCREENTIME. And OMG Unicron!? We're getting Unicron already!?
Episode 25: Jetfire is here! And he does a fusion dance thing with OP that's pretty badass.
Episode 26: Megsy this advisor of yours is pretty shady, you might want re think this.
Episode 27: What kind of horror movie monster is Sideways anyway?!
Episode 28: Damn Megs sure has some fancy tools at his disposal in this series.

Episode 35: Screamer and the Bots working together is amazing, he's having so much trouble though. Please don't let this fall apart too fast.
Episode 36: Y'know, we talk about OP&Megs being doomed yaoi in every timeline but Jetfire and Screamer sure do that pretty often too.
Episode 37: Screamer getting a present from all his human friends and not knowing what it is. Also he turns back and my heart is broken.
Episode 38: Poor Screamer and poor Alexis. They want to be besties so badly but life just pulls them apart.
Episode 39: WHAT WILD OUT OF NOWHERE MEGOP MOMENT Megs just screamer OP's name over his latest Heroic Sacrifice omg
Episode 40: And Megs is so bummed out over it he's depressed and the others are like "He lost his rival that's not easy" Yeah yeah we know what Rival means

Episode 44: Megsy (now Galvy) is now so committed to his fight with OP that he is literally ignoring Unicron to focus on it

Seriously though I knew Screamer died here but I didn't know that it HAPPENED BECAUSE ARMADA MEGS IS SO FREAKING HORNY FOR FIGHTING OP HE LITERALLY WON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE GIANT FREAKING DEATH BALL RIGHT ATOP HIM.
Your Doomed Robot Yaoi obsession is gonna doom the universe and already killed Screamer.
Episode 49: But it works! He shakes OP's hand! He's all sweet about Starscream and regretful that he died! OMG Galvy when did you get so wholesome?
Episode 50: And he and OP make the most adorable little team leaders! They just team up naturally and Galvy is smiling so much this ep they're so freaking married.
Episode 51: And it just gets better and better and omg they're so protecc of each other, and is Alexis a Decepticon whisperer? She got Galvy to apologize?
Episode 52: OMG ARMADA MEGOP IS THIS THE GAYEST MEGOP OF ALL TIME?!
Like just to run it down, Megsy/Galvy is all like "shit unicorn won't die unless I end my fight with OP guess I better heroically sacrifice myself with one last fight" and then we get:
"Are you repressing your lust hatred for me or do you actually like me? Admit it, Prime!"

Holy shit so that was Armada. Mostly kind of a meh show at first but got pretty dang good after the halfway mark. Heroic Starscream, and Megs/Galvy giving me such unexpected feels there in the finale. The Cons are the real heroes of this show honestly. What a ride.
