anyways how would Starscream look like in other continities? Also how would triple changers work like Astrotrain and Blitzwing? Are grounders are completely the same? And would cassette carriers change a little like Soundwave and Blaster?
The pteroformer quadruped design is kind of isolated to the one Armada AU in my mind lol, i draw starscream normally in other contexts. The concept extends to TF Energon kind of, but that's as far as I got, and even then, thats kind of an AU of the AU to me because id prefer if the AU ended when Armada did.

(p.s. starscream is considered 'cute and pretty' by cybertronian standards, but people usually change their mind the second he opens his mouth. hes also kind of a crummy example of a seeker because hes unusually small)
as for triple changers, because this is an armada AU, there aren't really any in the original cast besides like... laserbeak. in the original comic this AU is from, there is a seeker triple changer (windrunner, an oc) who's third form is a direwolf, which is fine, because fliers and beastformers are close phylogenetically. so triple changers do exist, but i suppose astrotrain and blitzwing have to have a beastmode alt instead of a ground-based vehicle.

I suppose you could consider the beast mode their ground mode, even though they could hypothetically possess a flying beast mode
of course, theyre robots, so grounders could probably upgrade themselves to have flight capacities, but itd be like grafting bird wings to a human, and they don't really have the anatomical or instinctual capacity to transform into things they arent born as. maybe astrotrain could be a shuttle/donkey since hes always used as a transport mule haha
soundwave never appears in armada, so i never really thought about him. he is a grounder or some sort so hes a typical bipedal humanoid. rotaformia (rota - wheel) is kind of a misnomer for all the ground based transformers because not all of the grounders have wheels, sometimes theyre guns or sound systems etc. its just a catch all for non-quadruped transformers and most rotaformia do have wheels
anyway, soundwave's cassette-beasts are sentient animals that have a symbiotic relationship with transformers and have storage modes. for bots like rumble and frenzy, i dunno, maybe theyre beastformer triple changers with a humanoid quadruped mode, a beast mode and a storage mode...
