Optimus is not exactly surprised with this. He heard that one before.

"Well, uhn..."

He tries to regain his thoughts.

"It's... only temporary. It just... happens. Come on, is that weird? Really?"

"that energon inferno gave me won't last long... "

Starscream had to find Optimus before he started slipping away again...

Optimus was at the Autobot's headquarters when he noticed, once again, that ghostly figure wandering the base's corridors.

"Again! It's that same figure! It came back! That's it!"

This time, Optimus tries to investigate what's happening on his own and starts heading down the hallway. There's something strange in the air, not to mention that this ghostly figure strongly reminds him of Starscream. Could he be alive?

Hot Shot throws a snowball at Optimus.

"Gotcha!"

"Hey!"

The Autobot leader immediately grabbed some snow from the ground. If Hot Shot wants a fight, this is what he'll get! He got so excited that he even activated his super mode!

"Is this war, Hot Shot? I'm in!"

A small chirp could be heard coming from right outside the Autobots' base entrance, then some clawing noises coming from out there before the door slowly opened and someone mysterious snuck in without anyone noticing..

Then, later.. a mess could be spotted right outside the transportation bay in the base, caused by someone.. yet no one was in sight. Unbeknownst to some poor bot, the true culprit was hidden nearby, an object ready and prepared to be thrown at whoever happened to come in first.

Everything was calm at the base; the Autobots were gathered in the Command Room for a meeting. As he started to leave, Optimus noticed the mess that had occurred in the hallway.

"What? Who did this?"

He immediately thought the Decepticons might be to blame, but the mess didn't seem to be their doing. Besides, they wouldn't invade the Autobot base just to cause a little trouble. Could it be the children? No, they always behaved well when they were around. Something was fishy...

Prime decided to investigate further, finding more mess in the hallway. He reached the transportation bay area, finding more mess leading outside. He crouched down to examine it and didn't notice the small bot that was hiding behind him.

"Who could've done that?"

The room that Optimus was in suddenly had its' windows opened out of nowhere.. and right afterwards, a note appeared on his berth with one specific word on it: "Why?"

It was clearly left by someone Optimus himself couldn't see, someone invisible. A ghost.

Nothing else happened for a while after that, as if whoever was there with Optimus was waiting for a response or reaction from the Prime.

"Eh?!"

Optimus continued analyzing the letter and looking around his quarters. He noticed that the windows had opened out of nowhere, leaving him afflicted.

"Who... who could've left this letter here?"

Prime continued reading that single word from the letter, unable to recognize the handwriting. And the children wouldn't play a prank on him with something so serious.

"Is... is there anyone here?"

"So, I posted here on my blog that I had to clean up the Autobot base pratically all by myself (Red Alert was the only one who helped me, along with some Mini Cons). And I don't know where these pictures came from, but yeah, while I was cleaning my desk, I found them. Apparently, someone took pictures of me and Megatron fighting. I have just one little thing to say..."

"I'M NOT THAT SMALL!"

"Oh... you better be careful with me." Seductive chuckles.

"Optimus, oh Optimus! Will you do me the honor of coming to meet me in my habsuite as soon as you're free? I've got a surprise for you that I'm certain you'll love!"

Optimus finally got some free time after getting tired of throwing snow at Hot Shot and Sideswipe. He immediately starts heading towards Jetfire's habsuite.

"I'm on my way right now, Jetfire!"
