Starter for @armada-hotshot:

It was a fine day for a walk in the woods. It had always been a peaceful place, and a young woman was calmly enjoying her stroll when she spotted a strange, glistening object on the ground.

"Huh? What is that?"

Curious, she followed the light to see what it was. She found an object she had never seen before. It had a strange symbol engraved in the middle.

"What... what is this? It sure looks... unique. Why did it glow? Could there be something inside? Hhmmm..."

As soon as she bent down to touch and examine the object, she saw a strange thing appear in the sky.

"What the...?"

Suddenly, something large emerged from there, landing on the ground with a loud thud. And it wasn't long before another portal appeared and another large thing came out of it. Another thud. The woman was frightened, but the situation worsened when she saw... a giant robot?! Some kind of enormous robot was staring at the Mini Con beside her and then stared back at her. It looked so menacing. Clearly, she was terrified.

"Oh my God! What is this?!"

The giant robot took a step forward, followed by another. Without wasting any time, the human began to run away from them.

Hot Shot throws a snowball at Optimus.

"Gotcha!"

"Hey!"

The Autobot leader immediately grabbed some snow from the ground. If Hot Shot wants a fight, this is what he'll get! He got so excited that he even activated his super mode!

"Is this war, Hot Shot? I'm in!"

@armada-hotshot and Sideswipe appear in the Animated Universe.

What's the first thing they do? Attack this universe's Megatron with SNOW!

"NOW, SIDESWIPE!"

"Sir yes sir!"

The two run around and hit him from different angles.

"Ack!"

He turned to see who had dared to attack him with snowballs. He saw two different bots he'd never seen before, but he looked at Hot Shot's shoulder and recognized the Autobot symbol. Of course they were Autobots...

"Imbeciles! I'm Megatron! And I'll make sure you pay for your atrocity!"

He scoops up a lot of snow from the ground with his large servos and makes a huge snowball. He hurls it with all his might towards the two Autobots.

Hot Shot is beaming as he hands his commander the second gift. "Here you go!" He doesn't stick around this time, running off before he can open it. Typical Hot Shot.

What he finds inside is an old red and blue CD player, themed after himself. Alongside that, there's a collection of music discs, roughly 40 of them. There was a lot of rock, some jazz, and some grunge and emo. There were also a few romantic songs slipped in, including "Messages from the Stars."

At the very bottom, there's a note. Actually, two notes.

"Optimus, thank you for everything you do for us. Your selflessness and strength really inspire me. In the past you made choices that I didn't understand, and even now there's things you say and do that I don't get, but it's those decisions that teach me to become a better bot every day." "Dear Optimus Prime. Sometimes I find your teammates insufferable, but I am thankful to you for letting me join. Being here has been a better experience than being on the Decepticon side and I've felt much safer."

Now it makes sense why Hot Shot said "Ours."

"Hot Shot!"

Once again, Hot Shot left before Optimus could say "thank you." He sighs and begins to open the second gift.

"By Primus!"

His optics sparkle as he observes the CD player, its vibrant colors resembling himself, and the collection of discs. He examines each one with a smile. Rock, jazz... all great choices, no doubt! And the romantic songs, he already knows what he'll do (play them while having a romantic conversation with Megatron, Jetfire, or another person/bot he cares about).

"Hm? What is this?"

He found the two notes that were underneath the CDs. Carefully, he placed them on a table and picked up the notes one by one, reading them attentively.

How touching. His optics even leaked a bit, feeling a comforting warmth in his spark. He treasures the note along with the gifts, holding them close to his chestplate.

"Hot Shot... Starscream..."

"You two are wonderful bots, and I must confess it was a great pleasure to meet you. I don't regret anything. I even see you both as my children. I want to see you grow more and more and achieve all your goals. Thank you. Thank you very much."

I absolutely love your Optimus! He's a very gentle and sweet, taking good care of everyone he interacts with. I'm a big fan of when he gets flustered too. I've said this before, but you are one of the two roleplayers who inspired me to start up my Hot Shot blog in the first place! All in all, your Optimus is great.

Tell me your honest opinion of my portrayal

(I know that Optimus, the character himself, tends to be serious, but I like to give a personal touch not only to him, but also to Animated Megatron! Like, giving them a bit of my personality or thinking about how they would react/behave. Armada Optimus is already a lovable character, and I like to make him even kinder and more considerate to those he interacts with! I'm very happy to know that people like how I interpret him! And, of course, I need to make him silly and funny from time to time too, hehe!)

(Knowing that I was one of the roleplayers who inspired you is a great honor for me! And I love how you portray our beloved yellow bot! I've said this before, but the roleplay between him and my sona is making me like him even more! I can see Hot Shot in your writing! 💛)

It took him a long time to decide what he wanted to give back to Datashrike. One of his first thoughts was High Grade. You can basically never go wrong with that stuff, but even so... it seemed like such a predictable gift.

Since he knew so little about them, it was difficult to know what to get, but eventually he'd settle on something, thanks in part to suggestions given by the kids. ---

A gift box is waiting for Datashrike. Upon opening, they'll find a boxy looking black and yellow creature with stubby legs and wings!

It's a bee plush! Specifically a bee from a video game called "Minecraft." Underneath the bee sits a note that reads:

" This is Bubee and he needs a companion because the winter makes him sad, so take good care of him, okay? PS: The gold foil and UV paint were awesome, thank you. - From: @armada-hotshot "

OH they were definitely holding back a few tears with this one. Hands delicately extracted the large bee plushy for its box, optics looking at it with love.

"Hello, Bubee..."

Then it was tightly but carefully held to their chest and shoulder, getting peppered with smooches...

"Thank you, Hotshot!"

"You must already know you're a handsome mech. You've got so many optics on ya, even after we came to Earth." He chuckles mischievously. "But back on Cybertron, I met a buncha' bots who were crushing on you big time. You've got a whole fanclub back there!"

That was it. His soldier managed to break him. He is blushing so hard that even his mask can't hide it.

"By the Allspark..."

"I... I never imagined..."

But he must return the compliment.

"I... I appreciate the kind words, Hot Shot. You're not bad yourself, you know? You have quite a charm!"

A familiar yellow bot is speeding down the hall right towards him... What is it that he could need so urgently?

He stops just before his commander, smiles, and then...

♥ A smooch!

"A kiss because you're so awesome, sir!"

The bot sprints away before Optimus can say anything to him, with his departure just as fast as his approach.

The Autobot leader was in the Command Room, looking thoughtful. He was probably thinking about his men and wondering if he was a good leader for them. Until his thoughts were interrupted by one of his soldiers, who quickly approached. He heard the compliment and felt the kiss on his faceplate.

"Oh! Wait, hold up!"

He tries to stop Hot Shot, but he had already left. Optimus places his hand over the spot where Hot Shot kissed his faceplate. He smiles. The doubt about being a good leader has vanished.

"Thank you... Hot Shot."

He wished he could return the kiss. But he will do so when he catches the yellow bot distracted.
