Ancient Stones- July 2012
This Church, in Armanitola in Old Dhaka, was built centuries ago by wealthy Armenians who settled in the area for business. The inner courtyard is spotted with dozens of graves dating years before the birth of even our grandparents. The age of the deceased range from the very elderly to children as young as four months old. The old church is guarded by a middle aged Hindu man named Shankar.
It's painted over every few years, leading to it's new appearance.
