Reposted from @voicesofukraine How was your weekend? Hope better than in Ukraine. This is just one snippet of the current Ukrainian reality. A story of the Saturday shelling of the village Kostyantynivka, told by Konstantyn, a photographer from Ukraine in his account @libkos: "Kostyantynivka is a small town in the Kramatorsk district. Low-rise housing, private sectors. There are no NATO military bases, no bio laboratories with poisonous birds, no secret chemical weapons. All that is there are simple people who lived their lives 4 months ago. They regretted something, worried about something, and rejoiced because of something. They fell in love, got married, had children, got pets. In short, they lived, you know? This morning several attacks on the private sector. Then in the afternoon - what you see in these photos, three more homes were damaged. And, probably, there will be a continuation in the evening, and I don't know how many more times. And yes, I never get tired of being surprised by our people. In the first photo, a woman rescues her cat from a shelled house. Her hand is injured, but she doesn't even notice it. Two more women are seriously injured. One has a wounded leg, the other has a head cut by shrapnel. Why am I telling you all this? Because the war continues. Because, no matter how long it lasts, we all have no right to give up. Especially those of us who today are still lucky enough to fall asleep in our bed without fear of waking up. Even if we fall asleep to the sounds of sirens. I myself, back in 2014, having sympathized for six months, began to live as if it no longer concerned me. I myself believed that this cancerous tumour would stop there, but naturally, it metastasized. If we forget now, if we get used to war now, then in six months we will all be in the place of these people, and in another six months, we will lose the country forever." *** 👌 Please like, comment and repost. ✊Record your own message of support! 🇺🇦 Keep standing with Ukraine! #voicesofukraine #istandwithukraine #standwithukraine #armukraine #armukrainenow #ukranians #weareukranians #bebravelikeukranians #russiaisaterroriststate #kostjantyniwka https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf38GDuIJUe/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
