Aromantic Headcanon: Maximum Ride

So, when I first started reading the series, I just went with everything. But then going back on it, Max's relationship with Fang seemed unrealistically forced, as does her relationship with Dylan. And when you look at her personality and you look at her before she out of NOWHERE kisses Fang, she isn't really interested in sex or romance or anything like that. All she is interested in is keeping the Flock safe and happy. And since there isn't much sex in the series (though I've heard she becomes a teen mom but that's another story), the focus is on romance. If Max was an actual person, I honestly believe she would be aromantic or at least aspec. When she does have her relationship with Fang, even though it feels forced, it's with someone she's known her whole life, someone she has a deep connection to. Honestly, I feel like Max is aro. Even if she's just aspec, she's still not exactly interested in those things because there are more important things in life to her,
