It's aro awareness week! I'm an aroace creator with a queer fantasy noir podcast Say I Slew Them Not coming out March 18th. It features several aro characters such as Heron, the "old" (he's only forty) rebel leader trying to prep the next generation of rebels to win their people independence.
Quentin is the aro founder of the Ferdarian Gazette (the newspaper putting together the Say I Slew Them Not podcast). He is basically if John McClane was a reporter and instead of a gun (which he detests), he uses his sarcasm, "wit", and his newspaper to destroy people.
Max who is the poor sap organizing Kingsley's trial for war crimes. He is aroace and would much rather be enjoying a nice cognac in his townhouse the dealing with Kingsley, Demons, angry anthro crocodiles, and (un)holy assassins, but he keeps telling himself it'll be worth it when Kingsley hangs.
Sandie is an aroace bank robber and weapons expert for the anthro crocodile liberation movement. He is also father to Asia, a budding bank robber who is in love with Ernest, the stuttering bank teller turned rebel. Sandie hates everyone except his daughter.
And finally, Siegfried, the ruthless and furious rebel who is basically an anthro crocodile Enjorlas. 😅 Siegfried only cares about winning his people their liberation and is completely fine with martyrdom. Some would say, he may prefer martyrdom over actually achieving his goals.
