falls asleep on the couch: please they’re totally falling asleep on top of each other on the couch. They probably have the same favorite section of couch that they sleep on so when they get home before the other one they are out like a light and so the other one comes in and just lies across them and they wake up and move to the bed at like 3 in the morning with sore necks and promises to get that damn seat next time.

makes friends with the neighbors: Cora. She grew up learning to be nice to neighbors, and she likes to have that part of her routine back in her daily life. Malia’s not rude, she just doesn’t understand the social niceties of “Hi, Betty, Margot’s really getting big, isn’t she!” and is more than happy to leave that to Cora.

is the adventurous eater: Malia! Cora will try new things when Malia pouts and tells her to please please just try one bite, but Malia loves to discover newness.

hogs the covers at night: hmmm, probably neither of them, honestly. At night they sprawl all over each other and use each other as blanket and pillow and comfort. But when Malia has a bad day, Cora will find her hiding under the blanket in the middle of the bed, wound up tight.

forgets to do the dishes: Malia.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Malia! She can be more than a little abrasive, and even though Cora’s got snap and bite, sometimes Malia can be a little bit mean. And she knows she puts her foot in her mouth all the time, so she tries to leave small presents or trinkets here and there to make up for it, and to always be wooing her heart.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Malia. I literally always headcanon Malia as agender or nb and so sometimes she comes home and is just excited to be out of the clothes that mean she’s presenting a certain way, or she’s putting something on, deciding against it and yanking it off and leaving it on the floor for later because it’s irritating right now. But Cora just cleans up after her because she can’t stand dirty clothes on the floor.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Malia. Look being human again comes with a lot of knowledge acquisition.

sings in the shower: Cora. Malia pretends to hate it, but it’s so much better than an alarm clock. Plus, Cora dances in the shower, too, and with the angle of the bed to the shower that Cora never pulls the curtain on, Malia gets a pretty good view.

takes the selfies: They share a joint instagram account. Cora is into the selfies but Malia likes to take pictures of Cora and nature.

plans date night: Cora. Cora likes the “traditional romance” fare, and Malia couldn’t give two snots about it, except that she does because Cora does. So she dresses nice and pulls out chairs and goes to the movies with Cora on her arm because really, she’d give her mate anything she asks for.

7. One-shots or longfic?

I tend to go for one-shots more when I’m reading, because I have a terrible attention span, but if a long fic is quality, I have no problem reading it. I just don’t seek out long fic like I used to.

19. Do you read porn or does it make you uncomfortable?

Yeah, I read it and write it.

23. Biggest turn-offs in fic?

Gross OOCness. I’m of two minds about this, because one, you can thrust a character into any universe and characterize them however you like and say this is why I’m making them do these things, and I think that’s completely valid. On the other hand, I’m definitely attached to certain characters for specific qualities and when you strip them of that, I lose interest.
