I saw a headcanon of Vox being either aromantic or aroace and it really grew on me

(I also just enjoy throwing a bunch of random ideas at Vox until smth sticks)

i hope everyone knows that when i say anything about radiostatic, I do NOT mean it an ANY allo way. Not only is Alastor doing it in a deeply aroace way, but Vox is also doing it in a deeply aroace way.

And I don't mean it's platonic. Whatever's going on there is deeply weird and highly volatile and very queerplatonic and is what happens when two narcissists (/positive) can't get enough of each other. And if it was anything else I wouldn't be interested.

I've seen so many "Alastor thinks Vox fixed him because he felt so strongly for him he thought he loved him romantically" and that always makes me cry💔

BUT MAY I SUGGEST:

Aromantic/Demiromantic Vox who fell in love with Alastor and Alastor only, and was so so happy that he was right all along, that he just didn't find the right person. Aromantic/Demiromantic Vox who now had the proof that he could be "fixed" if he just tried hard enough.

(Even worse if his feelings weren't actually romantic, but he just felt so so deeply for Alastor that he thought "Yes, this must be love, it doesn't get better than this")

Ive decided Vox is aromantic. Im not sure if its his lack of attraction/neglect towards his relationship with Valentino or the fact they chose to not go the Radiosilence route where they definitely could've (and I'm not honestly surprised they didnt). But he seems like the kind of guy to end up in a relationship because its convenient or what you're 'supposed' to do when friends get close enough. Living in the 50s probably didn't help with this.

Definitely a headcanon and I know im literally gonna have everyone disagreeing with me but I like the thought.

Aspec Vee's wip since my wrist is hurting and also because I'm proud of myself for how quickly I drew this! I do want to reiterate that this is a wip, my initial sketch so still needs a lot of fixing up
