We're the broken hearts 💔 subsystem. Mostly Evil Vox, Vivian, and Simone, but others sometimes post as well. They/them collectively. Adult. Minors dni because we will be horny sometimes. Please make it clear you are an adult in your bio/pinned or I will block you.
We all share the same body in headspace and one alter fronts for the subsystem at a time. We have a subsystem headspace within the overall headspace. There is an Order We Go In, like the subsystem must be presented in that order even though it does not correspond to who is most likely to talk on the blog. Oh well! We're going to list ourselves in that order anyway! You're most likely to see Evil Vox, Vivian, Simone, and Eurydice.
We are not the same person, but we are close enough that we aren't separate people either. It's confusing. Suffice to say, we mostly share credit for things subsystem members did and are prone to saying "I" for something another member did.
The line also indicates how easy it is to get to various alters from the one fronting. Like Charlie can access Simone and Simone can access Charlie and Evil Vox, but could not access Dust or Vivian, for example.
#Charlie 💔 - Charlie fictive from hazbin hotel (Charlie, they/them). Anxious, shy, very unlikely to talk, both out loud and on the blog
#Simone 💔 - Simone de Rochefort factive (Simone, they/he/she). Behind the scenes advising on conversations for the rest of us. If you talk to any of us, Simone is almost certainly involved.
#Vox /evil - Vox fictive, Hannibal Lecter fictive, Andrew Graves kin. (Evil Vox, Vox, Andrew, he/it). Started this blog as his personal alter blog and also a kink blog when we only knew about him in the subsystem. Crazy for Valentino. Likes to spin trauma into bdsm and kink. See our old pinned to learn more about all that.
#Vox /static - RAM Vox and Eurydice (Hadestown) fictive (Eurydice/Vox, they/them). They're at the midpoint between Evil Vox and Simone and between Evil Vox and Vivian, but there is no sensical way to express that on a line.
#Vox /vivian - fem Vox fictive, Karen Pierce (Yukon Quest by Tracie Peterson) fictive, Vivienne de Fer (Dragon Age Inquisition) fictive (Vivian, she/it). Seems to have also introjected the concept of an Edwardian widow who killed her abusive husband to get his money.
Really annoying how people in alterhuman spaces act like if you dont beleive in magic you are automatically medicalizing and pathologizing something. I can beleive in nondisordered causes for things besides magic
It's really frustrating because people who believe in spiritual origins for themselves and believe in magic can believe psychological origins are possible for others without compromising their world view. Where as someone who does not believe in magic or past lives as *possible* would have to do that to agree with someones spiritual conclusions about their origins.
Which leads to people who don't believe in magic, who are just minding their own business talking about how they believe things to work, not going after any individual and saying their spirtual beleif is wrong, being told they are a bad person and pathologizing and medicalizing and invalidating other peoples beleifs, just because they dont couch everything with "and also a spiritual origin is possible!" when they literally *dont* believe it is possible.
People with spiritual beleifs can sit on a high horse that they never disagree with anyone about their origins because other peoples origin beleifs do not conflict with their world view, while those who beleive in psychological origins and do not beleive in magic do not have this luxary and we get harassed for this. I have seen people say the community no longer has a psychological and spiritual divide and that is just not true for those of us who are strictly psychological and dont beleive in magic as well. There is a divide, we just dont feel safe talking about our experiences because we will get fucking yelled at.
I just talk about alterhumanity coming from introjection and someone comes up to me and yells about how not everyone fits the introjection model and im like. I literally wasnt fucking talking to you. I'm not going to couch what i beleive every time i talk about it. Im not going to say sometimes its from past lives because I dont beleive thats true. It would be lying for me to say that. It would be actually unethical for me to do that.
It's really funny to think about that while we know Vox is lying, and ALASTOR deep down knows Vox is also lying... Alastor's pride is so fragile that he can't help but react to those words. That an obvious lie that Vox 'doesn't care' would make him LIVID regardless of evidence.
He looks so mad. He looks even more triggered than he did when Lucifer was baiting him in the lounge area. Lucifer showed how unbothered by his presence he was by sitting cool as a cucumber, deftly throwing insults while Alastor sat rigid unable to compeat (this pertains to him being wounded). Then he storms out and rants to Rosie, and demands she fixes his staff. She then shows just how unbothered she is by his tantrums and condesendingly puts himin his place. And literally tells him she'll help him when SHE feels like it. He storms out, 2/2 on getting fucking snubbed and disrespected. Neither party cares about him in the way he wants, neither pair actually let anything Alastor said get under their skin. And that drove Alastor up a WALL.
So then he goes to Vox. Who he knows with his entire being he is very much Bothered by Alastor. He gets the reactions, and the attention, and the control he was desperately scrounging for from before.
Until that single moment, that obvious lie. The whole song just fucking proves how much Vox cares. But Alastor has had quite the shitty day, and "for fucking pete's sake- not you too!"
one of the biggest reasons vox was so gutted and angry with alastor at the end of s2 is bcs even then, he still thought everything was part of their "game". even if he was hurt and angry and vengeful beyond words, even if it was still so fueled with hate. "i know you feel it, too." THAT'S what vox said when he had alastor tied up in his office. there has to be a level of rivalry and understanding in what they were doing, right? why hadn't al killed him then? why engage for this long? from vox's pov, there has to still be a reason!
and then alastor frees himself, and tells him to his face that vox was nothing more than a stepping stone. an idiot. this all meant nothing. vox tells him he'll beat his ass. alastor says he'll finally torture and perma-kill him on his broadcast. and of course, alastor undoubtedly feels more complicated abt vox than this, that engagement IS confirmation, their past outright confirms how close they were, he makes no move to actually kill vox in their final battle despite having countless opportunities, he still trusted vox to be the one to get him out of his deal and that is a MASSIVE, MASSIVE concession from someone as paranoid and distrusting as alastor. but vox doesn't know that. and alastor doesn't show that. what else is he meant to believe?
why is vox so upset? he lost everything for nothing! why is he so hurt? he was made a fool and now everyone hates him! why did vox try to kill alastor so permanently? alastor told him to his FACE he's gunna kill him first! his actions are a direct response!
and this isn't to say that vox is some poor woobie who did nothing wrong blahblahblah, it's his own hubris and ego and short-sighted obsession that helped lead to his downfall. but if you ignore how none of this would've happened w/o alastor's direct, malicious involvement. to not understand why vox would escalate in the first place. to not get just how push and pull their twisted ass dynamic is. idk i think it's a massive disservice to both characters.
