PETAL pavilion in the beautiful garden of @designmuseumdanmark during @3daysofdesign and following summer months! The bar will be operated by The Format Café @formatdmd all summer long
Assembled from simple sun lounge chairs in a cylindrical arrangement, that mirrors the changing appearance of a flower between day and night. During the day the structure appears "in full bloom" when the sun loungers are opened up to provide access to a 360 degree bar and seating area.
At night, the chairs collapse to form a screen for colour or graphic projections. Designed in modules the pavilion can be easily assembled and reused at a new setting, as well as the chairs can be used as their original function again.
