Things that make Kureto uneasy and/or apprehensive are things he doesn’t know. It’s why he’s so adamant on obtaining information by any means necessary – because the unknown can be harmful, both to him and to his plans. Kureto banks nearly everything on the plans he carries out in full, so if there’s the possibility of an unknown wrench being thrown into the mix, he won’t be happy about it. He needs to know everything: all parties involved and what all parties know. He skips the small talk and goes right to torture/truth serum because it’s been proven through trial after trial that that’s what gets him the best and quickest results.
♆ : Are they prone to violent outbursts or thoughts?
Kureto’s lived a comfortable enough life, surrounded by ‘yes’ people, that there’s never been any provocation for any kind of violent outbursts. But it’s exactly that kind of set up that could lead to one in the future. Especially with such a high risk play he intends to make and with all the experiments he’s been conducting. I imagine that when things don’t go his way and something is messed up in a major way, there could possibly be some kind of outburst.
Violent thoughts don’t come as often for him as some people would assume. Though he’s often causing someone harm, he truly doesn’t do it because he wants to or because he enjoys it. The facts are that he needs to do it. He needs to conduct human experiments because he needs to find the solution to the problem that is the world’s current status. He needs to torture those who oppose him so that he can know what they know and who their co-conspirators are so that he can cut off any attempts there could be at stopping him. Or, that’s how it is now (currently).
When Mahiru was alive, before she betray the Hiiragi House, Kureto had violent thoughts about her quite often. As far as he was concerned, he should have been the one and the only candidate for the Hiiragi heir. So having to compete with her, knowing that it could possibly come down to who Tenri (who Kureto thinks is foolish and stuck in old times) chose possibly on a whim, had him wanting to get rid of her in the most painful of ways.

She’d invited him for several reasons, mainly of course, because she knew it was important to start forming connections at a young age if they were to last, and he seemed like he could be important to her and Ciel someday.
