Arrow Rewatch 2018 4x04: Beyond Redemption
- 'He said he had a big announcement to make.' Oliver and Felicity walk in while the wheels are turning in Thea's mind.
Oliver's horrified expression is hilarious.
- Oliver announces his intentions to run as Mayor. He doesn't get the response he was hoping for. Poor guy.
- They show the team the new lair. It looks awesome.
- Did Lance really just tell Oliver he hoped he dies?
- Laurel wouldn't tell her dad that Sara died last year because of his heart condition, now that she's alive again, she gives him no warning. WTF?
She's keeping her chained up in the basement like an animal. I'm just so done with this character.
'Don't you mean more money?' lol
- KC and her stunt double are so unconvincing during fight scenes. They just look clumsy.
- 'Uh not to complain, but you do know that you just brought a police captain into our secret lair!'
'Don't worry, I've got enough to put you away for 25 years. Kidding.'
Felicity’s look of exasperation is so funny. The way she just throws her arms up in defeat lol.
- Poor Felicity, she doesn't want to hear Ray's final message.
- Shirtless Oliver on the salmon ladder. What a treat.
'Oh, I am so glad we came back.' Same.
- Oliver sees Quentin with Damien on camera.
- Oliver confronting Lance is such a fantastic scene. It's so well acted and extremely powerful to see how disappointed Oliver is in him.
'You were the main reason behind me running for Mayor. A part of me has always wanted you to see what kind of man I really am.'
In the end, he did. He saw you as a son, Oliver.
- Laurel getting tasered is hilarious. The way she falls...
- one of the biggest problems I had with the stunts in s4 was that they kept depowering Oliver to make others look good, or to fit the plot. Here is one such scenario. There is no way in hell Warner would get the better of him. Even stabbed, Oliver would get out of that situation. It's absolutely ridiculous. We've seen him taking on multiple guys but he can't take out one person. I call bullshit. Stop putting plot before character!
- Oliver wants Lance to work as a double agent.

- Felicity looks so proud of her hubby during his speech.

Quick Thoughts
- Why aren’t you wearing it? - Surprised Oliver didn’t kill Thea in that moment! But it sweet that he clearly talked to her about proposing to Felicity
- Poor Oliver - it really would have been nice if his friends had shown some support for the Mayor announcement
- LOVE the new lair! All shiny and new!
- Lance in the field with Team Arrow to take down the dirty cops...loving it! But it’s a quick turnaround from the hate
- So many dirty and corrupt cops in Star City!
- Laurel grrrr you did this to Sara
- Lance going to Darhk for help with Sara was actually pretty smart
- Felicity appreciating her man on the salmon ladder SHIRTLESS is all of us
- The scene with Oliver and Lance broke my heart - tears were shed. Oliver so looked up to Lance and valued his opinion. Even leads to him questioning whether he should run for Mayor.
- Lance tries to do the right thing and kill Sara only to be stopped by stupid Laurel.
- Poor Lance kidnapped by the dirty cops
- So is Slam a thing? I’ve never heard of it until last week’s flashback and now Liza Warner mentions it again
- So nice that all those people clapped for Oliver. Love that Thea is helping Oliver with his campaign
- Love Oliver announcing his running for Mayor - warms my heart. He has hope in his heart!
- Glad Felicity decided to listen to Palmer’s message
- And Sara is on the loose...shocker...TOTALLY LAUREL’S FAULT!

Trip Down Memory Lane #49
It’s no secret that Season 6 of Arrow has left me beyond miserable - but I remain cautiously optimistic about Season 7. However, I still need cheering so I’m remembering times when Arrow made me happy. There was a whole lot of happy and good before I had my heart broken.
