Y’all may think it’s for the drama or whatever, but this boy is 100% in the right.

Referring specifically to his decision to ask Kara to back off a little bit to give him space so he can have a handle on things. I don’t watch Supergirl, and she may be great, but I’m pretty sure Oliver’s experience and leadership capabilities trump her powers as a resource. That’s how I feel right now! :DDDDDD

Arrow 5.08

It's the crossover episode! I watched the Flash crossover ep last night and thought of how 14yo me would have been having an everloving MELT DOWN for a crossover of that magnitude.

Man seeing the "programming" everyone is experiencing is gut wrenching. Especially after Oliver just said last ep that he was powerless to stop the deaths/loss that occurred and would have given anything to change them. His dad? His mom? Laurel?

Siiiigh.

And Sara hugging the life out of Laurel with the “I missed you,” but only knowing the extent of her feelings without knowing the why. uglycrying.gif

Quick jumping back to 5.07! BARRY CHANGED THE TIMELINE?? I was really confused as to why we weren’t seeing Diggle’s daughter this season. I thought there had been some big time skip I wasn’t aware of and he had a second kid. Wow wow wow. Super proud of Oliver for his acceptance but ohhhhh maaaaan. It makes you think- can you miss something you never had? That you have no memory of? Or is it only the comparison that makes us ache?

You know something’s weird in the Arrowverse when the Arrow side of a crossover is more cheerful than the Flash side...

Anyway, what a great episode! My roommates can vouch for the fact that I was making a variety of joyful squeals and laughter. I’m not even questioning the fact that Gideon can translate the Dominators’ language, because who cares? Also, it’s hilarious that they were kidnapped by aliens and somehow didn’t expect they’d end up on a spaceship.

Totally ridiculous. I loved every minute of this.
