MONARCHY -
One family will hold power as the leaders of their respective Guilds, though positions similar to Deputy will be kept in place but will not be able to ever rule their Guild unless the are part of the Ruling Family. Ruling Families would be able to change depending on certain circumstances and this would mean succession dramas and other such similar things would be more prevalent.
MERITOCRACY -
Pretty similar to canon Warriors. A cat moves up through the ranks based on skill and ability as well as what the current leader wants as an advisor, etc etc. This is the current system I am using in the story aside from the Umbra Guild, which has a Monarchy because drama >:)
THEOCRACY -
Most similar to the Tribe of Rushing Water's leadership. A leader would be a spiritually chosen one or a cat that communes with Asteros's StarClan.
DEMOCRACY -
Cats are allowed to elect their new leader. They may choose to have the current deputy take over the position of leader, they may wish to elect a different cat to become leader or cats can challenge the current deputy for the right to leadership when the current leader retires.
As a side note, I can also use a combination of these. For example, currently all the Guilds except the Umbra Guild use Meritocracy. Perhaps all the Guilds have a Monarchy, but an heir is chosen based off of skill rather than birth order, etc etc. You get the idea lol.
