All I can really hear clearly is "The number you have called is not available at present. Please..." and then that Nuts Addiction heavy guitar riff comes in and drown the last bit out. I think it's "Please leave a message after the beep" or something similar, but I can't be sure. Hopefully that answers your question! ^^

There's a bit of an obvious joke is this post-chorus where the start of each phrase makes it sound like they're fighting eachother (as they often do), only to turn around and go "... fighting for what's right, we mean!"

I reworked the wording of this bit to hopefully stil convey that double meaning.

Iori's lyrics tend to have a lot of imagery that doesn't translate very clearly, so I have to get creative... These are my best approximations of what the lyrics are going for, but they're far enough from a direct TL that I think it's worth justifying.

More literally this is "we're passing the story to you,"

but it felt like there's already an overuse of 'story' and 'history' in not only this chorus but the entire song, so I spiced it up a bit. Plus, I feel like the imagery is a little clearer here.

[2] Haruomi Verse 1

Oof, this was hard to translate. I do my best to keep the syllable length of my lyrics in the same ballpark as the original so they're easy to follow -- and although I adore the flow of this verse, it made it very difficult for me to do that. As a result it may feel a little more awkward than usual... please forgive me...

[3] Engine running, spitting out exhaust fumes with my verse

There's some fun wordplay here, but it's sadly kind of impossible to put into english.

Haruomi here is actually talking about exhaust fumes coming from a bus (yes, like the vehicle), but bus (basu) sound very similar to the Japanese pronunciation of verse.

I've changed it to 'verse' in this translation for clarity's sake, so you don't get confused and assume Haruomi is just really into buses on top of his preexisting love of motorbikes. My hope is that the imagery still carries...
