@arrow-lesbian i would assume so. most recipes use chickpeas as a base (i did a combo of chickpeas and white beans today which worked well) with onions and garlic, then either milk or broth (i used soy milk but i know i’ve used vegetable broth in the past) all blended together
it’s pretty simple ingredient-wise, but i’ve never gotten the texture quite right. apparently adding cashews makes it... normal? nice and creamy like regular alfredo sauce. i never have cashews on hand so i can’t say if it actually helps
I just binge watched all 3 seasons (again) and the movie (for the first time) and could not find it mentioned anywhere once, and I've been working on something inspired by it so it was bothering me. I've been following you since the carmilla crazy theory days and thought you might already have some thoughts 😅😅
not hidden in little bits like the text on screen when JP’s overlay is there?
or on the character twitters, maybe?
I could have sworn an official name was released at some point
Any theories on what the J.P. in J. P. Armitage stands for?
oh damn oh fuck no one’s asked me my thoughts on Carmilla meta in YEARSSSSSSSSSSS, you’re really throwing me back here buddy
Wasn’t it shown somewhere in canon at one point? I don’t remember it but I feel like it was explicitly given somewhere.
The only thing I remember was Ukuku referring to him as “Jelly Paper” when Laura broke the prophecy glasses
I could PROOOOOOOOBABLY go digging through some things to try to give a reasonable answer based on location/time period? But it would take a while to do that and I have other stuff going on.
If it was never given in canon, it was probably a reference to something we were never expected to figure out (something either mythological or occult, maybe named after a famous alchemist?), or an in-joke like “Jolly Poltergeist”.
You’re welcome haha. Des is a lot of fun to write and I’m glad you like her!
If you ever need somebody to talk to feel free to reach out! I know exactly what that kind of loneliness feels like and if there is anything I can do I will do it! 💜💜💜
Hey, thank you so much. I *truly* live for all the support and kindness I can find on here. It means a lot.
@arrow-lesbian it was actually the tweet you reblogged earlier that made me want to rewatch!
