“Now for my final trick. I will make these three gallant beasts disappear right before your eyes.” Zechariah said as he walked to each of the elephants on stage, before turning back to the audience. He could see the looks of disbelief in the crowd. All it did was cause a smirk to play at the edges of his lips. “Taerg stsaeb raeppasid mrof ym thgis.” the magician’s voice echoed in the hall as the elephants rose from the stage and carefully glided around the arena.
As the crowd gasped at the sight as the elephants got dangerously close. It was all an act though, The animals got a little closer before they transfigured into a shower of confetti. Cheers erupted from the seats, as Zechariah took a bow. “Thank you ladies and gentlemen! I am Zechariah Zatara, and thank you for joining me tonight!”
Zechariah disappeared from the stage; a good old smoke and mirror trick. He reappeared in his dressing room. The small little room magically expanded. The magician was a celebritiy after all, the usual small and drag dressing rooms weren’t made for him. A knock at the door caught his attention, but he made no attempt to answer it. “You may enter.” He muttered as he turned the faucet to his claw-foot bath on.
