DOLLS - made from old clothes and scraps of wire and wool. I wanted to create two unlikely friends. They remind me of the children’s story about a rabbit who helps a girl create a birthday present for her mum. They collect fruit in a basket and decide it is the perfect gift - the moral of the story being, that the best gift is one that is personal and thoughtful, no matter how simple it is. I can’t remember the name of the story, or who the writer/illustrator.
