life updates since i’m returning: i got a cat, i’m going ginger in the next month or so, i may have a fwb (jury’s out until this weekend), my crazy ex’s car might get repo’d….oh and my 1st piece of work as an author will be published on feb 1st. come tell me a life update!!!
So I got Rainworld the other day. I like the game a lot, but I have some problems with it.
My main issue is that it seems like some mechanics will just randomly stop existing. Throwing a spear at Monster Kelp will make it let you go... until it doesn't. Spiders will avoid you if you have a light source... until they don't. The slugcat will automatically grab onto poles... until it doesn't. Add this on top of the fact that you have to collect a certain amount of certain items on your way from point A to point B with all kinds of dangers with a long distance between the points and finicky controls all while on a time limit, and it feels less like this game is challenging and more like it's actively telling me to go fuck myself.
Is anyone else having this issue? I'd love if there was a way to solve this!
