Something I don't think is talked about enough in the tadc fandom is specifically. Kinger's continued non abstraction. Like yes Jax dehumanizing himself and everyone else compared to Zooble telling Gangle she's human and yes Jax coping by keeping everyone away vs Ragatha coping by overcompensating and being Too Nice but something that really got me with this last episode is like. Jax was telling Pomni all that as if the only way to survive in the circus without losing it is to be mean. But Kinger is the nicest one there, even more than Ragatha because it's completely entirely genuine ykwim. He's not Nice he's Kind.

And Kinger is explicitly stated to have been there the longest. His wife abstracted, who KNOWS how many of his friends he's seen come and go, and yet not only has he not abstracted but he's chosen to be kind. To everyone. He has seen so many abstract and rather than dehumanize them or himself, he specifically does his best to help make everyone feel valued.

He is a direct contradiction of what Jax was saying. He's survived by choosing to love even if it doesn't last.

Idk if I'm making any sense but I feel like that's gotta be important to message of tadc
