Dear Friend of Art Access,
At the beginning of the month, we mailed our annual appeal letter. Specifically, we reached out to let you know the ways that you could make a creative difference in our community by supporting Art Access and our mission to provide equal opportunities to inclusive arts programming to people with disabilities and those with limited access to the arts.
It is the time of year when mailboxes become filled with a bevy of worthwhile requests from nonprofit organizations. Art Access makes one such request per year, and this campaign is a crucial part of our efforts to fund our programs. We hope this email serves as one more opportunity to bring the needs of our organization and the people we serve to the forefront, especially as we prepare to celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2014.
Regardless of how Art Access has impacted your life this past year (or the past thirty years!), we hope you will take the time to learn more about a few of our programs. Doing so will help you to better understand the way Art Access turns donations of time, talent, and treasure into programs that directly impact men, women, and children with disabilities and/or those who have limited access to the arts.
When you commit to Art Access, you are joining with other caring and passionate people to support those who are:
• Participating in Teen, Veterans, or Kindred Spirits workshop programs
• Serving as mentors and/or apprentices in our Partners program
• Joining together in our Disability and Literature Book Group discussions
• Experiencing the transformative power of our Integrated Arts in Utah Schools program
• Gaining awareness about fostering a welcoming environment for museum visitors with disabilties through our Everyone Welcome Cultural Access program
• Featuring artwork from The Permanent Collection in their place of employment
• Attending a gallery exhibition that is socially relevant and engaging
Every single penny makes a difference to the people we serve, and we would be honored to receive your donation and steward it wisely. For details on how to make a tax-deductible gift and how we will thank you, please click HERE.
Art Access has been able to grow, thrive, and serve countless Utahns because of friends like you who have believed in our mission and invested in us year after year. With your continued support we can keep offering high-quality, inclusive and accessible arts programming to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Together, we can make a creative difference in the state of Utah right now — and in the years to come.
