Theyre meant to be showcases of their ship name! Martyn has a tree and Ren has dogs attacking. This also showcases this reactions in the moment i drew, martyn is calm, and the tree helps showcase that serene-ness, peacefulness and calm that hes trying to show to Ren, the different mixture of soft colours help showcase this, theyre gentle on the eyes and soul. If you pay close attention you can see a slight red vignette in the bottom corners, this was meant to represent a slight uncertainty in Martyn and the oncoming doom of his death. Ren's colour pallete is mostly red, a colour of rage and blood. there is a slight blue accent from sadness of loss but thats overtaken by rage. The dogs are attacking, actively fighting, the way Ren went out. The blue can also be seen as after when Ren dies, he feels at peace, because he's with Martyn again.
