but for eel i had this prompt so planned out, i was going to do the top 10 popularity poll winners and all dress em up as hades 2 characters but i procrastinated so much that i only was bothered to do tango and jimmy

Grian was going to be Melinoë due to him being her in the bg of the first prompt. Plus if ddvau had a hades inspired game i imagine him being the mc. also idea: whenever Grian starts a night his switches to Cuteguy

Scar was between moros and eris, decided on eris because of the "Former Enemy/Acquaintance/Potential Lover" the wiki has eris marked in Melinoë's relationships. and when counting CG and HG this works pretty well.

Tango as Hermes because ever since wild life i cant not imagine tango with a speed based ability,,,, plus hermes's colour scheme matches tango.

Jellie as Toula because of course

Jimmy as Charon to pair him with Tango's Hermes better, also there was just some odd little match in my head idk it just works for some reason

Gem because i always associate her with Artemis and Artemis with her

Deryn as Hecate because of the way Melinoë is her pupil, i also think the fact the first bossfight Mel goes thru is with hecate really fits with Grian / CG and Deryn maybe.

Mumbo as icarus because theres only so many engineer-like characters in hades that match mumbo's awkwardness. also Icarus is a potential lover for Mel #GRUMBO!!! #MUMSCARIAN!!!!!!

bro Martyn was a PAIN to figure out. I was debating Ares, because of some odd association i have with ares and martyn, Chaos because i just like chaos and i like martyn, and Odysseus because when working on the previous prompt my main reference i kept looking at was Odysseus. Decided on Medea because green, vibes, and also role. I imagine Martyn to be a character you can find in a chamber sometimes, and get an effect from, like medea.

Theyre meant to be showcases of their ship name! Martyn has a tree and Ren has dogs attacking. This also showcases this reactions in the moment i drew, martyn is calm, and the tree helps showcase that serene-ness, peacefulness and calm that hes trying to show to Ren, the different mixture of soft colours help showcase this, theyre gentle on the eyes and soul. If you pay close attention you can see a slight red vignette in the bottom corners, this was meant to represent a slight uncertainty in Martyn and the oncoming doom of his death. Ren's colour pallete is mostly red, a colour of rage and blood. there is a slight blue accent from sadness of loss but thats overtaken by rage. The dogs are attacking, actively fighting, the way Ren went out. The blue can also be seen as after when Ren dies, he feels at peace, because he's with Martyn again.

Eancor, The Nightingale's local Boatswain! They one day appeared on the shores of the nightgale faction with no previous history of ever living there or even arriving on another ship. They would not speak of where they came from either. The faction welcomed in this lost vistor as one of their own and started tasking them with multiple jobs before they eventually were able to get their own ship, but they still prefer managing others ships.

They are very uncanny in nature, creeping out newcomers or those not from the nightingales, but otherwise they are very friendly; even with their odd insistence on the existence of mythological creatures such as sirens..

A travelling sheep bard from a distant land by the name of Éire. They had stumbled upon the Red Kingdom and taken a job similar to that of what Rogues do within the kingdom walls.

For bannerfall i wanted to lean in with celtic history! Ive noticed on martyns streams he has a very celtic-esc background music and it made me further realise how well having a character lean into celtic history fits. My original plan was to have them be a faefolk but i decided against this because im in general not a fan of playing elf or faefolk characters because of how common you can find them in media. I instead settled on Sheep because sheep are my favourite animal to find here in Ireland especially with how common it is to see them. I honestly strayed away more and more from the ancient celtic vibe as i figured out a design i liked but i NEEDED to keep the bodhrán i find bodhráns so cool dude
