For over ten years, artist, writer, and curator Joanna Ebenstein has been excavating the places where death and beauty meet through her blog Morbid Anatomy. In her “Diskant Memorial Lecture: Beauty and the Macabre,” she searches for both in our collection of European art. Join us on Oct 27 in the Perelman Building Auditorium from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Nov 6, we're holding our annual Arcadia Library Lecture. Join us for P.S. Page Me Later: The Magic and Mystery of FOUND Stuff, a talk with writer, filmmaker, This American Life reporter, and FOUND Magazine creator Davy Rothbart . In this talk, Davy will share his favorites from the pages of his cult zine, and reflect on his forays into the lives of strangers, what it means to find something, and what it means to be found. Space is limited; reservations required.
