Toonator/Multator Revival 2026 NOT CLICKBAIT (GONE RIGHT)
im not the creator of this project (im just overnostalgic and admin for the server) but i wanted to promote this here bc i figured there'd be more toonator veterans on here than mf bluesky but if anyone used to use toonator/multator or wanted to come across anyone from their time on it they havent seen in years, Toonator.site and its associated discord server now exist!!
it works effectively just like toonator but with many tweaks with more to be added in the future, and as of now toonator.site is in open beta! nearly 100 members are in the Discord alone including many older members of the community from both Toonator and Multator. if you have memories from this site and wanted to revisit it again or reconnect with anyone this is the best opportunity to do so!!
(note : at the bottom right of the website is the switch between the English version and the RU version / Multator!! not everything is 100% translated to ru yet but the server is open for translators!)
please check this out and maybe join it and or the Discord if you're interested!! and if youre really interested please feel free to donate to river/the toonator.site creator on the ko-fi link in the site header!
Art sites that do not allow AI
newgrounds.com
buzzly.art (18+ only)
itaku.ee (16+ only)
cara.app (SFW only)
sheezy.art (additional restrictions on NSFW)
artfol.app (format similar to Instagram, pоrn banned)
purelyhuman.xyz
mastodon.art (it's a Mastodon instance so it has the worst format which is similar to X/Bluesky)
mastoart.social (smaller Mastodon instance, pоrn banned)
pixelfed.art (Pixelfed instance with a closed frontend, likely to minimize art theft)
Checking out purelyhuman.xyz because Cara wasn't enough I guess.
Yet another [art] site I need a VРN for. If our government hates artists they can just say so.
Months later, Triagonal is still bitter about their Side 7 permaban, returning to using their Inquisitron sockpuppet to complain about the admins while purposefully ignoring the context of their ban, which related to both evidence of their misconduct across platforms and their persistent, highly specific vagueposting about ongoing drama that contributed to the ban. Triagonal was warned multiple times about drama-milling, and ignored such warnings.
Those are hardly "nonsensical" circumstances. That's good moderation and vetting on their part. Triagonal is comparing apples to oranges as usual.
2025 LIST OF SITES THAT AREN'T TWITTER TO POTENTIALLY POST ON
Seperated by does and doesn't allow nsfw. I've only written websites I used in the two categories
disqualifying instagram from my previous lists
Here is a small list of art sites I've used that I would recommend - along with one I recommend avoiding. Most of these are gonna be furry art sites, but not all of them.
https://www.furaffinity.net/ Fur Affinity is a furry art site I've used for a long time, it has a nice tidy interface, and while furry based, you are allowed to also post things like photography.
https://www.weasyl.com/ Another furry art site I've used before, also quite tidy.
https://www.sofurry.com/ This one feels a bit messy, but it's still another good place to post furry art. It has a feature where you can list your likes and dislikes as part of your profile, if that's your thing.
https://www.artstation.com/ Sadly this site allows AI images, so it would be understandable if you skip this one. Aside from that flaw though, this can be a nice place for game design artists to show off their models, maps, textures, etc.
and now for the golden turd….a site I don't recommend.
https://www.deviantart.com/ If you thought art station was bad for allowing AI junk, deviantart does that and much worse. They limit you to only blocking 100 people, and there's a ton of toxic people on the site so that's "fun". They also removed the ability to search your own favorites sometime back. The site also used to have a nice tidy interface, but one day they redesigned the whole site as "deviantart eclipse" and it's been a mess to navigate ever since.
