It’s once again time to cover EXPRESSIONS!

What we’ll do:

understand expressions intensity

how personality, structure, and style changes expressions

Test it with 2 exercise together

What you’ll need:

a drawing tablet + PC or a tablet +stylus (you can also print the PDF and follow with paper and pencils!)

1 hour of your time

a drawing program (Procreate, Photoshop, Ibis Paint, Clip Studio Paint,etc…)

pdf files you’ll receive a couple of days before the workshop

The lesson will be RECORDED! So as long as you are registered, you can watch it later during the week in case you miss it :)

i had to move my art + writing workshop from last weekend, but it's happening **this saturday, march 14 • 1:30–4pm cst on zoom**.

visual artists + writers: we're gonna collage, sketch, freewrite, and let images speak through words. we'll be sitting with black queer women like audre lorde ("so it is better to speak"), june jordan, pat parker, lorraine hansberry.

**sliding $5+ • 14 spots • beginner-friendly**

notebook + scrap paper = enough. bring your surrealist/absurdist/experimental self.

i don't know how many of you folks on tumblr are anywhere near me, but in the off-chance any of you are close to denver and have a free tuesday afternoon next month, i will be leading a crafting workshop at meow wolf this april! which is a crazy thing to say!!!! we'll be making recycled trash critters like the beautiful beasties above in preparation/celebration of MW's 2nd ever recycled fashion show which i am also a designer in! wow!!!
