Phillip David Charles Collins (born 30 January 1951) is a drummer, singer-songwriter. He is best known as the drummer and lead singer of the band Genesis and as a solo artist. During his time with Genesis and with solo career Collins has made countless hits and sold millions of records, winning multiple awards and acknowledgments. Phil Collins is a force behind the drums and behind the microphone. In 2003 he was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is a great musician that has appeared and scored music for films. Collins was suffering from health problems last year but, he doing and Genesis is planning a tour this year.
