Dazai peers at the redhead, trying to decipher his expression as he moves behind the counter with machine-like precision. That's when Dazai spots two dark metal rings hugging either side of his bottom lip, a sharp contrast with the bright crimson lipgloss painting his mouth. A nose ring adorns his nostril, and two small spike cones peek from his left eyebrow, the material glinting under the colourful lights.

He didn't even notice his… fun height during his show earlier, but it's clear to him now that the other man is shorter than him.

Way shorter.

The bartender fills the shaker with ice, small cubes clinking against one another, and starts shaking the drink vigorously.

Dazai finds himself drawn to his moves, rainbow lights casting shadows on the young man's arms where his muscles melt into each other. He can't help but stare, intrigued by the colourful designs painted on his skin, eyes following the way the ink stretches and contorts as if it has a life of its own.

The bartender pours the drink in a glass with confidence, then he grabs a lemon and cuts the peel swiftly.

He holds it over the glass, locking eyes with Dazai.

For a second time that night, everything stops.
