Once I saw his illustrations in @colleenhoover ‘s novel #confess I became an instant fan. @artbydoc has such an incredible talent for creating hauntingly beautiful images that combine elements of B&W with color and human depictions with other objects. These two pieces, “Let the Melody Find Me” and “Singin’ the Blues,” obviously spoke to my love of music. They’re powerful yet vulnerable, full of movement and emotion.
