It’s been a quiet park of late at Burrard View, and the taped off swing sets and locked up tennis courts are frankly kind of creeping us out (as much as this is all clearly necessary).  But behind closed doors, the media projects and film actions carry on! And who doesn’t want some social isolation when they are hunkering down and getting some studio time in? Iris member Nisha Platzer, our March 2020 “Work In Progress” artist has just wrapped the month working on her “Back Home” documentary. And while her public events were understandably cancelled, Nisha has had the space humming with processing, refilming and reflecting. Plus, occasional breaks for some rear projections on our window screen of our Super 8 classics collection and some test rolls for all you dog walkers out there keeping your social distance. Dogs need their walks, and so do us humans!

Up next for the month of April and already settling in, is Ryder Thomas White. Stay tuned, lots in store...
