08/31/2020 Yesterday I thought the painting was done, I spent the day photographing and doing all this admin work that goes into selling it online. then went to bed on call and got woken up by an IV pump in the middle of the night and after I dealt with that. I couldn’t go back to sleep! then out of the blue I decided the mole needed a body suit! A whole day of documentation work wasted and piled on a day’s worth of painting decisions to make before the thing is done. I woke up this morning and worked it painting over stuff 2 or 3 times going back and forth.. White or pink? Sleeves or no sleeves? Straps? Translucent layers? Sequence? Floral patterns or geometric? Ahh the freedom of choice and being able to paint anything you want. This was my last version before going to bed now. I’m pretty happy with it but you just never know where you’ll end up at in a span of a day. sometimes you get lucky and get a rough idea.
