Instead of mixing the tracks just like any other mixtape, I picked some tracks that I like and I fed my sünnœttypækkülyttï machine with them. I also decided to pick something that I had in my head for several months: the intro of “Shape of you” by Ed Sheeran. I found that digital marimba sound very annoying yet interesting since it’s the first sound you hear on a pop hit loved by million of people. So I used that sound hoping that it was the key for making a pop hit, unfortunately it wasn’t and you’ll hear that sound all over the mix, deformed in all possible ways to become acceptable but at the end it’s just an annoying digital marimba.
