Brooke from Goodtype here and I am excited to share with you a truly unique and wonderful print project @woodism_ink. A collaboration between 7 year old Woody, who has high functioning autism and his Dad, Sonny Adorjan, who is an art director. They live in London with Woody's mum, Charlotte and younger sister Essie. Sonny is originally from Melbourne and has been an art director for 20 years and has worked with major brands like Guinness and Pepsi. About Woodism—since being diagnosed with autism at age three, Sonny noticed Woody came up with unique and insightful phrases. So, he turned them into linocut designs. Now selling them as A3, giclee prints and screenprints with profits going to the charity, @AmbitiousAboutAutism. Woodism shines a positive light on neurodiversity and the Autistic Spectrum and recently won a coveted pencil at the @d_and_ad Awards making Woody the youngest ever recipient. You can shop the prints, support the cause and read their full story at woodism.co.uk and cruise over to their insta @woodism_ink. Some words from Sonny: "Woodism has been a real antidote to my advertising role - using my skills in a more personal way, for a good cause, not having clients to reject ideas or any politics getting in the way. Teaming up with Woody has been great for our relationship and has done wonders for his confidence - he struggles at school so to see his words hanging on gallery walls has been a real boost. We teamed up with Ambitious about Autism which is the national charity for children and young people with autism. Their vision is for a world where the ordinary is possible for every child and young person with autism. They run services, raise awareness and campaign for change and they also run schools that offer specialist education and support." Thank you, Woody and Sonny. Can't wait to see more from you. . . . . . #goodtype #sponsored #woodism #autism #autismawareness #typography #artforgood https://www.instagram.com/p/CEiNWlkpFm-/?igshid=1wvnh8w6ap3jm
