I think Eggsy as Guinevere likes it when people assume. He likes it when Roxy comes with him and Harry, Arthur, to trips as backup. Roxy only comes with them because he asks Harry, and Harry and Roxy let him have his fun.

He likes it when people who’ve never met them, assume Roxy is Guinevere and he is Lancelot, holding out their hands to her, saying the queen’s name, to greet after they’ve shaken hands with Harry. He likes it when Roxy tells them, “Oh, no, my name is Lancelot,”

He likes the look of utter shock on their faces when he says, “And my name is Guinevere. Gwen is just fine, though,”

Roxy likes how they assume ladies can’t be knights too, enjoying the confused looks, as if they can’t understand how a woman holds a knight’s name, or how a man can hold a woman’s--a queen’s--name, and underestimate them both. As if giving a man a woman’s name is demeaning, and giving a woman a man’s name is giving her too much credit. He likes it when they become speechless when they ask them if a queen can’t be a knight and be called sir, and if a woman can’t be a knight and be called ma’am.

Of course, he didn’t get to this position just because he’s sleeping with Arthur. Though that might be about 10% of the reason why.

There is a severe lack of Guinevere!Eggsy content anywhere. I would like to contribute to fixing that.
