wow thanks so much!! i love hearing reactions from people who've actually seen the movie, and what you're saying is exactly what i'm hoping to accomplish. yeah, it's a perspective flip (which'll make some of the later events challenging/interesting to write, as you might imagine) and also the plot has to change in order to suit the personalities of the characters i've brought in as well as to make the writing more of an adventure for me (the movie's inspiration more than it is a blueprint, you know). anyways, i'm so thrilled you're liking it (more than the movie wowowowow!!) and also thank you for the 'to rock the night away' nod (in my head, i refer to it as "the one with the elf suit"). twas the intention, my friend :D
