So a few years back, this guy Scott Wolter claimed that he was getting his hands on an old journal that contained secrets of the Knights Templar.

People were quick to point out that his "antique" journal looked suspiciously like the kind of thing you could order off of Amazon, Etsy, etc. And it was pretty obvious the journal had been artificially aged.

Wolter backtracked and claimed that well uhhhh actually the journal is new but the information could totally be legitimate, you guys!

I think about this dingus and the ratio on this tweet a lot.

People were quick to point out that this was a modern journal that could easily be bought on sites like Amazon or AliExpress, and he basically tried to backpedal with “oh yeah sure the journal is new, but it’s the information inside that I’m really after!” *snrk* Sure, Scott, sure.

This conspiracy theorist/New Age/starseed lady’s claiming that her friend bought this Really Old Mexican Artifact that was Totally Dug Up With A Bunch Of Similar Artifacts and Totally Depicts Aliens From Way Back... like... ma’am, ma’am, that right there is a Big Red Flag for a scam, and if it wasn’t a scam, then that would be looting and that is Very Wrong. The “artifact” in question, BTW:
