yeeeesh, if i were in your shoes i would have cried for help or something; that would have probably pushed him away

i didn't because i honestly 100% don't believe anyone would have done anything. there are workers are the library but everything is automated and if you try asking for assistance for anything you get such an attitude from them. 

I was browsing the movies and he started asking me about movie suggestions and then he went into where do i go to school, where am i from, where do i work, what do i like to do. I would walk to different sections and he would FUCKING FOLLOW ME and comment about whatever we were looking at. I gave him one word answers and still couldn't take a hint. He even said "am I putting you into the mood," and "I can see I'm doing all the talking," and I was like NO FUCKING SHIT

I initially thought the same as you but after a couple of episodes in, you realise the whole power dynamic is a constant shift between him and his wife, and there's plenty more to it. Still, I understand why you don't feel like investing yourself into it.
