how long does it normally take you to complete a fic?
That really depends but the “secret” why we are so fast is that we wait until a story is finished before we post one and since we write almost everyday we have a few stories waiting in line to be posted next. This way we always have a buffer between the story that is posted, the one’s that are waiting to get posted and what we are writing atm. For example right now Evergreen is finished and next up is a Wolf!AU which will be updated twice a week as it’s a longer story. After that there will be a shorter Robot!AU and this is all happening while we’re just finishing up our new series, a Fairytale!AU, and are already plotting the next story! Then depending on how big the plot is it can take between a week or two (if it’s a small fic) and a couple of months. Cat and I write about 3 to 6k in two hours, also depending on how heavy the plot is, how fast we are or if we get distracted by random things lmao but yeah i hope this helps to understand how we work
