“All this may be pushing interpretation to a rather fancy point, but if it is wrong it at least brings one to look closer at the works, either to prove or disprove it.”
- Frank O’Hara, The Great American Artist Series - Jackson Pollock (1959)
The glossy light points, on the ball of the small ‘ a ‘ look like the crazy surprise anticipation happiness from those oldschool disney characters, when ‘ cat ‘ animal sy, see’s Betty boo for the first time. ( thirsty betamale neediness, never getting her). Though the long antenna with the chemical ground structure 3d ball model at the end, looks like a pinnoccio lying nose. Like the pretending to be beta male, giving here thirst, fake illicited substances, interest in long ( upper ) entrance, etc, etc. why? Cause at at subconscious level, the person deducted from this way seeing the painting, in truth doesn’t want the women he obsessed with, cause she ‘ bad ‘. Bad choice, due no pair bonding abilities due too high bodycounts, low interest from her, never ending hoe phase, low self esteem, married, engaged, lots male friends, bad relationship with her father, etc, etc. So projecting fake neediness, being beta on purpose keeps the cloud demons, baddies, for the bucket women, etc away. Interpretating this work in progress painting in this particular direction is just a example. They are a million ways, in which you can innterpretate the painting, a painting. I could go on for hours, doing this interpretations, though I prefer painting. #SEAK #ClausWinkler #SEAKClausWinkler #artinterpretation #interpretation #artworkfeatures #kunstwerk #Künstler #Contemporaryartists #artwork_in_studio (hier: Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cgl-5M6I4FJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Last nights work started on a new level of playfulness and clarity. I’m really excited and inspired by this new level and direction of drawing with both hands simultaneously and having more fun than previous works which were like a puzzle to solve and required serious study. I see this as a whole level of being for myself and my heart is clear 🤍 #art #femaleartist #linedrawings #artinterpretation #energyart #theflow #Kaliroi #abstractexpressionism #artlanguage #visualdiary #visuallanguage #femalepowerisgentle #thegoddessinherworks #gaia (at Hollywood, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/Caxfis7Pvyu/?utm_medium=tumblr
The Beauty in Art Goes Deep
Beauty is a paradox, yet people continue to argue over its grounds and degrees. They dissect its superficiality, meaning, and other elements to determine the beauty present in artworks. However, people who are not advocates of art, have a narrow understanding of the beauty in art. Their judgments only vary from what pleases the eyes. Hence, they come to appreciate solely what they can understand—that is, the trend that’s predominant in a culture. Hence, they fail to perceive the reality of the beauty in art. Determining the Depths of the Beauty in Art The depths of beauty in art goes deep; its beauty relies not solely on whimsical trends. Rather, it’s the concealed meaning in an art and our personal interpretations of it. When looking or experiencing a work of art, we interpret its meaning based on our experiences or on personal understanding of life. In the process of interpreting things, something inside us stirs. Thereafter, we ponder on countless realizations and begin to reevaluate the flow of our life. This moment calls to the heart, mind, and soul. You see, the beauty of art relies not on its spectacles. Its beauty runs so deep that it touches the core of our being. We should learn to base art’s beauty on its capacity to affect people. Even if the effects of an art is minimal, it helps mold its spectator. In Leo Tolstoy’s What Is Art?, he states In order correctly to define art, it is necessary, first of all, to cease to consider it as a means to pleasure and to consider it as one of the conditions of human life. Viewing it in this way we cannot fail to observe that art is one of the means of intercourse between man and man. Art isn’t simply about beautiful things that feed our senses with mere pleasure. The true beauty in art is, most times, exposing the truth of human wretchedness, presented beautifully with undeniable boldness. This is the paradox of beauty. Read the full article

Sometimes I paint what are either cosmic questions or delusions, old iconographic traditions or nightmarish specters, all interpretations depending on ones familial, religious, educational, experiential, and work backgrounds. What do you see, how do you interpret these two very different paintings? #iconography #arthistory #artappreciation #artinterpretation #fredcowie #professionalartist #lastchancelifecoach #helenamontana
