sometimes I feel that imposter syndrome creep in and I tell myself that it's ridiculous to spend hours wrapping wires and making stuff that may or may not ever be appreciated or enjoyed and I should just be content with having a hobby. A pastime.
I think alot of artists struggle with that, at least alot of neurodivergent artists anyway. It's almost as if once I've finished a piece and put it away I forget how much work I put in on it, or how awesome I thought it was when I finished it. It's like, my mind distorts what the finished piece actually looked like til I see it again in a picture or in my hands. And then I'm reminded....holy hell. I've done some amazing things.
I mean.. looking at these 4 photos stacked together, and I'm kind of in awe of my own skills. I have alot to be proud of, and I really need to give myself some credit.
If you are an artist of any sort, I challenge you to stack 4 of your pieces together in a photo collage, and show yourself, and the rest of us, how great you are. Reblog with yours if you care to.
